Joyner Lucas is keeping his rap-battle with Skepta going with the release of his latest diss track, "Round 2 K.O."
The British rapper initiated the battle, asking to lyrically spar with an American artist to put an end to the ongoing 'UK-versus-US' rap debate: “I want to clash with an American rapper. Let’s finally put this UK/US rap discussion to rest."
Skepta originally seemed to tag A$AP Rocky as his potential opponent, who didn't reply; instead, Joyner Lucas jumped at the opportunity: “The moment I’ve been waiting for… say the word, Joyner Lucas vs. @Skepta. #UKvsUS.”
Skepta first took aim at Lucas on the first diss track of the beef with "Friendly Fire," and Lucas responded with "Nobody Cares." Skepta then unleashed his second track of the beef with "Round 2", and now Lucas is back with "Round 2 K.O."
