Gunna edged out The Weekend to earn the No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest LP DS4EVER. Gunna landed 144,000 equivalent album units, with 3,000 estimated to be traditional album sales. The project features 19 tracks with collaborations from 21 Savage, Chris Brown, Future, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch and Young Thug. DS4EVER is Gunna’s second No. 1 album, and his fourth project to land in the top 10.
The Weeknd's Dawn FM took the No. 2 spot, and was expected to score about 157,000 units with 15,000 in traditional sales. Disney's “Encanto” soundtrack fell two spots to No. 3 on the new chart, but saw a 32% boost for the week, scoring 95,700 album-equivalent units, the highest weekly tally to date for the album since it came out in mid-November. Adele's “30” slipped to No. 4, with Morgan Wallen’s year-old “Dangerous: The Double Album,” hanging in at No. 5.
