Singer Pink slammed commenters on Instagram after being criticized her for supporting 'Black Lives Matter' after the murder of George Floyd.
The singer reposted a message put out by singer Billie Eilish, where she addressed the phrase 'All Lives Matter' and had very harsh criticism for anyone who would be promoting that online. In Billie's post, she said, “No one is saying your life doesn’t matter,” She continued, “No one is saying your life is not hard. No one is saying anything at all about you…… All you MFs do is find a way to make everything about yourself. This is not about you. Stop making everything about you. You are not in need. You are not in danger.”
Pink reposted the Instagram statement on her own page, which included this "You are privileged whether you like it or not. Society gives you privilege just for being white. … If all lives matter why are black people killed for just being black? Why are immigrants persecuted? … ." However, many didn't agree with her position and didn't appreciate the singer sharing Eilish's message. Pink blasted the person, responding on her own page to the comment, saying, “You are the epitome of white privilege and the saddest part is that you don’t even hear yourself and probably never will."
