Nipsey Hussle's Victory Lap just went platinum. Following his passing, Nipsey’s sales and streams have drastically increased, jumping from 1,000 to 14,000 in one week - and his video streams went from 900,000 to 9.7 million the day he passed.
Since its release in February, Victory Lap has sold 328,000 units based on sales and streams. It debuted at No.4 on the Billoard 200 album charts. The album which has been deemed a classic features collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, CeeLo Green, YG and many more. Victory Lap went on to be nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album.
Hussle was making huge progress in his community when he was killed outside his Marathon Clothing store in his hometown of Los Angeles.
