Sabrina Carpenter album Short ‘n Sweet has topped the Billboard 200 chart for the third consecutive week (dated Sept. 21). The 25-year-old singer’s album had debuted at No. 1 upon its release, marking Carpenter’s first No. 1 album of her career.
Per Billboard, Short ‘n Sweet is only the second album to spend its first three weeks atop the list in 2024 (with Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department also spending its first three weeks atop the list in 2024). Additionally, Carpenter’s recent single “Taste” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with her other singles “Please Please Please” and “Espresso” snagging the third and fourth spots. All 12 tracks from Short 'n Sweet made it onto the chart -- joins Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande as the only women to chart at least three songs on the chart’s top five simultaneously.
Carpenter celebrated her third week at No. 1 with a post on Instagram, alluding to the launch of her upcoming tour: "thank you for 3 weeks at #1 :’) short n’ sweet tour starts in ONE WEEEEEK who comin"
