Netflix shared a teaser for the new series The Perfect Couple. The upcoming six-episode limited series featuring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber as a wealthy married couple in a massive home on Nantucket will premiere Sept. 5 on the streaming service.
The Perfect Couple is a mystery drama based on the Elin Hilderbrand novel of the same name; according to an official synopsis of the series, “Amelia Sacks (Hewson) is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (played by Kidman), has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach."
Meghann Fahy, Eve Hewson, Dakota Fanning, Ishaan Khatter, Billy Howle and Jack Reynor also star in the The Perfect Couple, which is directed by Susanne Bier, who executive produces with showrunner Jenna Lamia.
