Lainey Wilson's latest single is “Hang Tight Honey,” off her upcoming new album Whirlwind dropping August 23rd. “Hang Tight Honey” is written by Wilson, Driver Williams, Jason Nix, Paul Sikes, and produced by Jay Joyce, available at country radio.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Lainey revealed the new song. In the first post, she released a video clip of her in the studio listening to the song and wrote, “The next song off of Whirlwind is comin’ sooner than y’all think.”
In the next post, she shared a video clip of her in the studio recording the new song, writing, “Hang tight, honey, I’m heading straight home to you!” And in the final post, Lainey wrote, “I’ve been runnin’ the roads nonstop for a few years now and I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, sometimes it can be tough being away from home that much. At the same time, remembering what ‘home’ is and the things that I get to do for the ones I love because of the work I put in is what keeps me going and makes it all worthwhile.
