27-year-old singer and rapper Doja Cat is back with her first new song of 2023. ‘Attention’ is Doja's first solo music since she released her third studio album, 2021’s ‘Planet Her’. She has since dropped the Top 10 hit ‘Vegas’ from the Elvis movie soundtrack, and she appeared on the remix for SZA’s hit song ‘Kill Bill’.
‘Attention’, written by Doja Cat, Y2K, and Rogét Chahayed, sees her addressing her exit from The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours’ stadium tour. The "Attention" video, directed by Tanu Muino, shows Doja being mobbed by adoring fans and walk the streets of Los Angeles - and reveals Doja Cat’s new character, Scarlet. Doja had previously shared Scarlet Letter-themed teasers leading up to the song's release, including cover art that showed her nude and covered in fake blood with an upside-down "A" covering her body..
