Too $hort has returned with a new single, “Drink & Smoke,” bringing together fellow West Coast rap veterans E-40 and Tyga.

The track was produced by Lil Jon alongside his late son Slade, blending Bay Area rap energy with Lil Jon’s signature production style. “Drink & Smoke” also serves as the lead release from Too $hort’s upcoming project, Sir Too $hort Vol. 2. The upcoming album follows last year’s Sir Too $hort Vol. 1 (Freaky Tales), which featured appearances from artists including Snoop Dogg, Larry June, Mistah F.A.B., and Ant Banks.

The new collaboration marks another reunion between Too $hort and Lil Jon, whose past work together helped create standout hits including Blow The Whistle and Shake That Monkey. The release also arrives as “Blow The Whistle” celebrates its 20th anniversary, remaining the rapper’s biggest commercial single.

Earlier this spring, Too $hort also celebrated his 60th birthday alongside Marshawn Lynch during a Los Angeles event dubbed “100 Years Worth of Game.” Guests included Mike Epps, Bill Bellamy, Scarface, Raphael Saadiq, Gary Payton, P-Lo, and Goapele, where attendees got an early listen to the new single.
