Alter Bridge have released the video for their latest single “Playing Aces,” directed by J.T. Ibanez. The new song is taken from their self-titled, eighth studio album, scheduled for release on January 9, 2026.
The latest single from the band - comprised of Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass, and Scott Phillips on drums - follows the previously released tracks from the album, including “What Lies Within” and “Silent Divide.” Alter Bridge previously shared the animated video for "What Lies Within;" check it out - HERE.
The upcoming album 'Alter Bridge' is comprised of 12 tracks and features trade-off vocal performances from frontman Kennedy and guitarist/singer Tremonti on songs such as “Trust in Me” and “Tested and Able,” plus the band’s longest composition to date — the closing number “Slave to Master.” The LP was recorded over a two-month span this spring in the late Eddie Van Halen’s 5150 studio in California and at the Florida studio once owned by Elvis Presley.
Alter Bridge will also be supporting the album’s release with a 31-date European/UK tour in early 2026 featuring support from Daughtry and Sevendust. The outing kicks off January 15th in Hamburg, Germany, and runs through March 5th in Nottingham, England.
