The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards were broadcast live from Los Angeles' Peacock Theater on Sunday, Sept. 14 on CBS, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze.
Among the night's big winners were the HBO Max medical drama “The Pitt” which beat out “Severance" to win the Emmy Award for best drama series, as well as the lead acting award for series star Noah Wyle.
Seth Rogen’s Apple TV+ series “The Studio” won four Emmys, including best comedy, in addition to an acting win for Rogen.
Netflix’s drama “Adolescence” dominated in the limited series categories, with Owen Cooper becoming the youngest-ever male winner in any acting category with his supporting actor win (limited or anthology series or movie).
CBS's “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” won the Emmy for outstanding talk series- marking the first Emmy for the now-cancelled late-night show.
'Severance' star Tramell Tillman won the best supporting actor in a drama series, with his co-star Britt Lower named best actress in a drama series. And Jean Smart took home the best actress in a comedy award for Hacks.
