Addison Rae has released the new song “Headphones On,” the fourth song off her upcoming debut LP, tentatively scheduled to drop on June 6. “Headphones On” follows the February release of “High Fashion,” which dropped after last year’s hit single, “Diet Pepsi" as well as the track “Aquamarine."
Co-written and produced by Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd, “Headphones On” was released alongside a music video filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland. The video opens with Rae behind the counter in a pink-and-red rain jacket, playing a cashier. Scenes of her riding a horse through open landscapes are woven throughout. In a message shared on social media, Rae described the personal connection she feels to the track: “This song is deeply connected to me in so many ways. Writing it was healing, emotional, and extremely spiritual. Every good thing comes my way. Because I choose to be good.”
Rae released her debut single, “Obsessed,” in 2021, and she shared her first EP, AR, in 2023.
