Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist have announced that their new album Alfredo 2 will drop July 25.
Alredo 2 is the sequel to 2020’s Alfredo, and will feature contributions from artists including Anderson .Paak, Larry June, and JID. To preview the new project, the duo have dropped the album’s opening track, “1995"; listen HERE.
In addition, Gibbs and the Alchemist have shared a short film Alfredo: The Movie, directed by Nick Walker and filmed in Japan. The film portrays the Alchemist convincing a reluctant and reclusive Gibbs to return to Tokyo from the mountains. Watch the short film - HERE.
