The Weeknd perform in concert at FIB Festival on July 13, 2017 in Benicassim, Spain.

The Weeknd has donated $1 million towards Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts. The donations will support firefighters and efforts to help displaced residents in the wake of devastation across the city.

The funds will be spread across the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, GoFundMe’s Wildfire Relief Fund and the L.A. Regional Food Bank in partnership with World Food Program USA and The Weeknd’s XO Humanitarian Fund.

The Weeknd was forced to postpone his planned album release on Jan. 24 for “Hurry Up Tomorrow” and subsequent concert at the famed Rose Bowl stadium, set for Jan. 25 in Pasadena, Calif.
