Ava Max has dropped her new single “Spot A Fake,” produced by Grant Boutin and co-written by Max with Boutin, Lauren Mandel, and Salem Davern. “Spot A Fake” is the follow-up to Ava's track “My Oh My,” her first solo single since the release of her sophomore album, Diamonds & Dancefloors in 2023.
Spot A Fake is accompanied by an official music video directed by Hunter Moreno and choreographed by Matt Steffanina. The song is “inspired by moments that shook her inner circle,” according to a press release, and she posted a teaser video to social media indicating a betrayal that occurred in 2019.
