Cardi B was forced to drop out of performing at ONE Musicfest this weekend due to an undisclosed medical emergency.
Cardi, 32, posted on her social media accounts: "I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won't be able to perform at ONE Music Fest. It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love yall." The rapper did not provide further details on the medical emergency.
Cardi first gave fans a glimpse into her hospitalization on Monday night, when she took to Instagram Live to slam a prank caller who called child protective services and claimed her three children were in danger. As she went live on camera, Cardi appeared in a hospital bed.
The medical emergency also comes just days after Cardi spoke out in a series of since-deleted posts on X against her estranged husband Offset, who she filed for divorce from for a second time on July 31 after six years of marriage. Cardi and Offset share three children together: daughter Kulture, 6, son Wave, 3, and a baby girl born in September, whose name has has not been revealed.
