Cleveland Guardians beat NY Yankees 7-5 in Game 3 of ALCS

The Cleveland Guardians defeated the NY Yankees in Game 3 of the American League Championship Serie with a 7-5 victory in extra innings on Thursday night at Progressive Field.

Cleveland tied the game in the ninth-inning with a two-run home run from pinch-hitter Jhonkensy Noel, with the Guardians' David Fry following in the 10th inning with a walk-off homer to break the 5-5 tie and give Cleveland their first win of the series.

The Yankees lead the ALCS 2-1 as they strive to achieve their first AL pennant since 2009.  Game 4 is scheduled for Friday night in Cleveland.
