Mitchell Tenpenny will release his third studio album ‘The 3rd' on September 20. Mitchell shared the news via social media, alongside The 3rd's album cover and a graphic of its track list.

In anticipation of its release, Tenpenny has released the autobiographical title track with a video featuring an intimate look at Tenpenny’s life and legacy. The artist shared: “I would definitely say the album really covers what I have learned in the last few years since getting married and hopefully growing up and hopefully maturing. I want to be personal. I want to be vulnerable. I want people to believe and know that this music is authentic to me, and I mean the words I say.”

Fans can pre-order 'The 3rd' (here), with options including a vinyl release and physical CD available on the release date. Tenpenny shares of the album: “I want this record to be all over the place. I want somebody to be able to find their song in the record, something that helps them or just something stylistically different from everything else. It just encapsulates everything I've done and all the genres I've loved.”

Tenpenny will launch the Woke Up In A Dream Tour on September 12th in Las Vegas at the Theater at Virgin Hotels, running through mid-November. Featured guests include The Castellows for the first weekend, with Dylan Schneider appearing on the remainder of the shows.
