Jordan Adetunji has released a remix to his viral song “KEHLANI” featuring none other than Kehlani herself. While the original song was a tribute to Kehlani and her confidence, Kehlani adds her verse this time stating what she wants in a woman. The accompanying video is set in a club with Adetunji starting off the video on a packed dance floor, before the club empties when Kehlani joins him for her verse.
Since its release in May, 'KEHLANI' has clocked up over 83 million streams on Spotify, catapulting Adetunji onto the world stage. The official music video for the track, directed by Dublin-based creative Ovie Etseyatse, has garnered an additional 23.5 million views.
Adetunji reflected on working with Kehlani saying it “has been a great experience because I’ve been able to see her process, and how she sings, how she places things, and how she says her words. Even her just translating what I said on my song to her verse was just amazing, it was seamless.”
