Paul Russell and Meghan Trainor are teaming up on "Slippin'."  Russell announced on social media: "Our new song Slippin’ is out now, baby!! Hope it makes you smile and cry and sing at the top of your lungs at the same time 🛝🛝🛝"
Russell said of the new track: “Needed something new to scream at 2 am karaoke. It’s hard enough finding someone to love. Getting them to love you back? Even harder. The song is emotional, but it’s not a sad song. It’s meant to bring people together. It’s a song you want to sing along to. I hope so anyway!”Â
Meghan shares of working with Russell:  “Paul is an absolute gem of a human! He is the sweetest, so talented and deserves all his dreams to come true. We had SO much fun working on this song, and I can’t wait to spend more time together on tour this fall!”
Slippin' follows the platinum certification of Russell's global hit “Lil Boo Thang,” which has over half a billion streams to date.  He also recently joined Teddy Swims on his first European tour, and will serve as support for Trainor at arenas across North America on her upcoming Timeless Tour.
