Stars defeat Oilers 5-3 in Game 3, take 2-1 series lead

The Dallas Stars defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-3 to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference Final on Monday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

After trailing 2-0 after the first period, the Stars rallied with three straight goals -- Dallas forward Jason Robertson broke a 3-3 tie midway through the third period with a hat trick, and Miro Heiskanen added an empty-netter to give the Stars the 5-3 win.

Game 4 of the series will take place on Wednesday at Edmonton.
