Edmonton Oilers beat Dallas Stars in 2nd OT to win Game 1 of Western Conference Final

The Edmonton Oilers beat the Dallas Stars in second overtime with a score of 3-2 on Thursday, to take an 1-0 series lead in the Western Conference Final.

Connor McDavid redirected a centering pass from Evan Bouchard past Jake Oettinger to score 32 seconds into the second overtime, giving the Edmonton Oilers the win. The Oilers' Zach Hyman also had a goal and an assist, Leon Draisaitl also scored, and Stuart Skinner made 31 saves in Game 1 at American Airlines Center.

Game 2 of the series will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m. in Dallas.
