Marvel Entertainment teased the upcoming film Deadpool & Wolverine with a new trailer featuring stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The trailer features footage of Jackman suited up as Wolverine for the first time since 2017's "Logan" along with Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, who is recruited for a mission by the Time Variance Authority from "Loki."
Per USA TODAY, "Deadpool & Wolverine" marks Deadpool's first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox in 2019, which owned the "X-Men" and "Deadpool" film rights.
Deadpool & Wolverine, the sequel to Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018), is directed by Shawn Levy and also stars Emma Corrin as their common enemy, Cassandra Nova. Reynolds and Jackman also previously worked together on the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
