Rick Ross dropped his response to Drake, his former musical collaborator, on the diss track, “Champagne Moments”. The arrives after a leaked version of Drake’s “Push Ups” dropped on April 13.
Ross also shared the tongue-in-cheek cover art for "Champagne Moments" featuring the black-and-white photo from an old yearbook photo of a Caucasian man who happens to resemble Drake, and leaned into the rumors Drake got cosmetic surgery by putting #BBLDRIZZY on the artwork. Speculation has surrounded the photo around for years, and on Champagne Moments, the 48-year-old Ross calls Drake "white boy," accuses him of getting a nose job, and alleged he sent a cease-and-desist letter to French Montana over an unreleased verse (per All Hip Hop.). In addition, Ross dropped a video for the diss track, which you can check out - here.
Drake's diss at Rick Ross kicked off the rap wars, as part of the aftermath from Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Like That” included Lamar calling out the other two members of the so-called “Big 3” of rap (J. Cole and Drake).
