Sabrina Carpenter has earned her first No. 1 at Top 40 radio with her hit single “Feather,” which comes one year since the song’s release. Billboard reports that by reaching #1, “Feather” becomes Carpenter’s first chart-topper at the pop format; the song already represented her first Top 5 hit.
“Feather,” released last March 2023, gained in popularity following the release of the official video last October, amassing 5.2 million views within one week of release. It currently has nearly 40 million views while the track has accumulated over 600 million streams and reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Carpenter has performed the song on her Emails I Can’t Send Tour across North America, Europe, Asia and Brazil, and more recently as support on Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour through Latin America, Singapore and Australia. Next up for Sabrina will be an appearance at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.
