Cardi B shared the release of her new song “Like What (Freestyle)," which samples Missy Elliott’s iconic 1999 song “She’s a B**ch,” posting on her socials: "Ooo man baby here we go again 💎LIKE WHAT OUT NOW"
Cardi also shared the music video for “Like What (Freestyle)”, directed by her husband, rapper Offset, which shows Cardi roaming a mansion featuring circular architecture and walls of windows. At the end of the track’s video, Cardi teases the possibility of another single with the text, “This is just the beginning. Stay tuned,” accompanied by a beat that resembled a song she teased on New Year’s Day at a Miami club.
"Like What (Freestyle)" marks Cardi B's first song of 2024; her most recent single, "Bongos" featuring Megan Thee Stallion, was released in September 2023. Cardi is next set to appear on "Punteria," a song from Shakira's forthcoming album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
