Mariah Carey announced The Celebration of Mimi, a new show at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. The 54-year-old singer posted on her socials: "Vegas, I’m coming back to town with a new show!! 🎉🦋 ‘The Celebration of Mimi’ Live in Las Vegas, this April 12-27 at Dolby Live at Park MGM! Get your tickets Saturday at 10am PT @ ticketmaster.com/MariahVegas 🎉🦋🎙️❤️" Carey previously had residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
The Celebration of Mimi residency will commemorate the 19th anniversary of Carey's 2005 album 'The Emancipation of Mimi', which featured the hit songs "It's Like That," "We Belong Together" and "Shake It Off." According to Billboard, Carey's new show "will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career." The exclusive engagement will hold performances on the following dates: April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27.
Pre-sales tickets are on sale now. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Saturday, February 10th at 10 am PT via Ticketmaster.
