On Tuesday, January 23, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign shared a trailer for their collaborative project, Vultures on social media. The duo also revealed that Vultures will be dropping in three volumes --the first volume is now scheduled to arrive on February 9, followed by the second volume on March 8 and the third and final on April 5.
The trailer, directed by Jon Rafman, features a reworked version of the title track and shows a montage of creepy imagery, from a house burning to a clown sitting in a car, wolves howling at the Moon, and a a tongue sticking out of an unzipped face mask. The new version of the “Vultures” track features Bump J and Lil Durk; the version of the album played at a Miami listening party in November previewed tracks with guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Kodak Black, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown and Freddie Gibbs, as well as a track sampling the Backstreet Boys’ “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).” However since the listening party, it was revealed that Ye and Dolla $ign never cleared the Backstreet Boys sample, and Minaj also declined to have her verse on “New Body” appear on the Vultures album.
