The music and legacy of Dolly Parton is once again taking over the Grand Ole Opry, in honor of her upcoming 78th birthday. For the second year in a row, the Opry will honor Parton with a special Opry Goes Dolly show on January 19, Parton's birthday.
Though Dolly herself will not be in attendance at the Opry Goes Dolly show, the celebration will feature Ashley Monroe and Tigirlily Gold covering the legend's songs. There will also be cupcakes, Dolly-themed drinks and even a Parton impersonator.
In addition, The Opry will donate $5 from every ticket sold to the Opry Trust Fund, which helps members of the country music family who are in need.
