In honor of the 10-year anniversary of his platinum-certified album, True Believers, Darius Rucker is releasing it on vinyl for the first time. Rucker says in a press release: “This album changed so much for me musically and for our live show. As a kid who worked as a clerk in a record store, there’s a part of me that has always wanted this album to live on vinyl, so this is a great way to commemorate 10 years of 'Believers'.”
The album, originally released on May 21, 2013, features singles “Radio,” (which reached the Top 5 on country radio), and the title track, which hit the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. True Believers also contains Rucker's cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel,” which won him the Best Country Solo Performance at the 2014 Grammy Awards. In 2022, that cover made history as one of five country songs to be certified diamond by the RIAA for sales of more than 10 million copies.
True Believers (10th Anniversary Edition) will be available on black vinyl, along with a limited number of commemorative signed copies. The vinyl edition is available for pre-order now.
