The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars with a 6-0 win in Game 6 of the Western Conference playoffs, to advance to the Stanley Cup final for the second time in six years.
William Karlsson scored twice, with William Carrier, Keegan Kolesar, Michael Amadio and Jonathan Marchessault also scoring for the Golden Knights, while Reilly Smith contributed two assists. Said Karlsson: "We had a good start. We kept it light. We know when to buckle down and play hockey. We still have four more wins to get but it has been a great journey so far."
The Golden Knights will face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final; the Panthers will be making their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1996. Game 1 will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
