Drake has been teasing new music of late -- first with "Search & Rescue” (on which he seemingly threw shade at Kanye West by sampling audio of Kim Kardashian); and now a new collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert titled 'At The Gates (All Painted)'. A 50-second snippet of the track first surfaced online back in September 2021.
Drake has shown off his admiration for Uzi in the past, bringing him up on stage to perform during J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival last weekend, and during his show at the Apollo in January. Drake told the crowd at the time: “I love this guy so much. Not only are you one of the greatest artists of this time, I’m so excited to exist at the same time as you, how experimental you get, how genius you are. But this guy checks up on me, he’s a fu**in’ real one.”
