Jane's Addiction kicked off a short West Coast last weekend, and debuted a brand new song called "True Love." True Love is the band's first new music since 2013’s “Another Soulmate." Jane's last album was 2011's The Great Escape Artist, their fourth studio LP.
The band's current live lineup features Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Eric Avery, and Josh Klinghoffer, who is filling in for Dave Navarro while the guitarist continues to battle some health issues related to long-term COVID-19. A statement by the band‘s singer Perry Farrell, bassist Eric Avery, and drummer Stephen Perkins on their social media pages: “We’d like to address the questions surrounding Dave and the upcoming Jane’s show. As a band, we are in a great place, writing new music, and the bond is tighter than ever. We all hope Dave can be out playing with us when he feels healthy and ready.”
