Paramount+ released the first teaser for its 'Yellowstone' prequel 1923, starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford as Cara and Jacob Dutton, ancestors of Montana cattle rancher John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner on 'Yellowstone').
The streaming service said in a synopsis: "the series will explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home. " Along with Mirren and Ford, the cast of 1923 also features Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves and Jerome Flynn.
1923 is set to premiere on December 18, 2022, on Paramount+. The Yellowstone prequel series has already been renewed for season 2, with 1923 set to last for two seasons as eight episodes each. Take a look at the trailer for 1923 - here.
