For the 11th time, Taylor Swift has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with her latest LP.  Midnights has sold more than a million copies since its release on October 21, including more than half a million vinyl sales, making it the biggest-selling album in almost seven years.  The last album to achieve larger first-week sales was Adele’s '25.'

Swift now ties Barbra Streisand for the most No. 1 albums among women. Swift is also the sixth musician to earn more than 10 No. 1 LPs on the Billboard 200, joins The Beatles (who lead with a record 19 No. 1s), Jay-Z (14), Drake, Bruce Springsteen and Streisand (each with 11).

In addition to being this year’s top-selling LP by overall sales, Midnights also had the largest sales week for an album since Swift’s 2017 full-length, Reputation.
