Cody Johnson and Lainey Wilson lead the lineup of performers set to pay tribute to the late legend Merle Haggard during "Opry Salutes Merle Haggard," which includes performances from Suzy Bogguss, Joe Nichols, Eli Paperboy Reed and Haggard's son, Marty Haggard. The one-night show takes place April 6 at the Grand Ole Opry House, coinciding with the anniversary of Haggard's birth in 1937 and death in 2016.
Per a new release, fans attending the show can expect to hear cuts from Haggard's famed songbook, as well as original numbers inspired by his legacy. Those unable to make the show can expect to catch highlights later this spring on "Opry Live," airing on the Circle network.
