Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s VERZUZ battle has a new date after getting postponed twice in the past month.
A statement from the event organizers cited the unstable events in Washington D.C. and the rising COVID-19 numbers as reasons for postponement from January 9th last week, and its original Dec. 12th date was cancelled after Ashanti contracted COVID-19.
The new date has been set at Thursday, January 21st at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. The photo on the Instagram post says “new and final date” while the caption reads, “Thank you everyone for being patient with us. We can’t wait for this magical night with Keyshia and Ashanti!”
