Verzuz is returning for a second season and was about to kick things off with a head-to-head matchup with T.I. and Jeezy. However over the weekend, the platform made an announcement that Gucci Mane would replace T.I. for the upcoming battle against Jeezy on November 19.
Gucci Mane made the announcement on his Instagram page with a post that was captioned, “Tell buddy Get ready Thursday Nov 19 @verzuztv Trap God vs Snowcone.” T.I. also posted the flyer for Gucci and Jeezy’s battle and said, “Now THIS… Is what the people wants to see!!” He added, “Trap Muzik salutes y’all.”
The exact details of what took place to make this a matchup between Gucci and Jeezy a reality are unknown. Tune in 11/19 at 5pm PST/ 8pm EST to watch the Gucci Mane and Jeezy matchup.
