Former NBA champion Jeremy Lin announced that he is officially signing with the Chinese Basketball Association and will join the Beijing Ducks this upcoming season.

Lin is fresh off winning an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors this past June. The nine-year NBA veteran came off a lost 2017-18 season in which he suffered a ruptured patella tendon in the first game of the regular season. He signed with the Atlanta Hawks in the summer of 2018, but was later waived midseason. Lin played minimally for the Raptors, appearing in just eight games throughout the 2019 playoffs.
