Back in November, Corey Taylor said that Slipknot would be back in the studio in January to work on their successor to 2014's .5: The Gray Chapter -- and now he's confirmed on Instagram that it has indeed, happened.
Alongside a picture in front of a wall of studio equipment, Taylor wrote: "Guess what we're doin....?"
As far as the album itself, Shawn "Clown" Crahan told Billboard, "The album breaks down to... good vs. evil, or in this sense, evil vs. good. It's about being a human being and experiencing what you have in correlating it to this world. This world is ugly and it's supposed to be, and it has to be in order for art to lead to grandness and beauty."
