Nas has shared the music video for his song, ‘Cops Shot the Kid’, which is featured on his latest album ‘Nasir’.
In the video, a young black man is harassed by two white police officers and is later shot as he flees them with his hands raised. The visuals jar with cuts to Nas walking on a beach at sunset.
Slick Rick, whose ‘Children’s Story’ is sampled on the track, makes a cameo in the video. ‘Nasir’ is Nas’ first record in six years, which was produced by Kanye West.
