Karen Clark Sheard, Jacky Clark Chisholm, and Dorinda Clark Cole -- better known as The Clark Sisters -- will be bringing their story to TV. In an Instagram post, The Legendary Clark Sisters shared their excitement: “It is with great anticipation that we share with you the story of the Clark Sisters “You Bought The Sunshine” coming early 2019″ The movie will be executive produced by Queen Latifah, Mary J Blige and Missy Elliot, and will premiere on Lifetime.
The Clark Sisters are the highest selling gospel group in history, known for mixing the world of the gospel with R&B and rap.
As of press time, there were no details about casting or other information about who would appear in the biopic.
