Cleveland Browns Fire Head Coach Hue Jackson, Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley After Loss To Pittsburgh

The Cleveland Browns fired head coach Hue Jackson on Monday, this coming after their 33-18 to the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Browns also fired offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Jackson was hired in 2016 and has been 3-36-1 as head coach of the Browns. Team owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam stuck by Jackson after he was 1-15 in 2016 and 0-16 last season. Jackson was 2-5-1 so far this season. Senior offensive assistant Al Saunders and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams are candidates to replace Jackson on an interim basis. Saunders was 17-22 was head coach of the San Diego Chargers from 1986-88, and Williams was head coach of the Buffalo Bills from 2001-03.
