Kensington Palace has confirmed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child, due next spring. “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public,” Kensington Palace said of the pregnancy announcement. According to royal insiders, the duchess is about 12 weeks into her pregnancy. The news comes nearly five months after their wedding on May 19. It will be the first child for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The couple, who have just arrived in Australia for a royal tour, were last seen at the Oct. 12 wedding of his cousin Princess Eugenie. Meghan’s Givenchy coat, which seemed to hide her figure at that event, sparked pregnancy speculation.
