Khalid dropped his new single, “Adore U,” which features the artist lamenting someone who appears to be maintaining their distance from him, physical or emotional. Shares Khalid: “'Adore U' is one of my favorite records. It delivers a melancholic experience filled with ethereal melodies and soulful vocals setting the tone for my upcoming album that I can’t wait for my fans to experience."
Adore U follows the star’s previously released single “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me,” off his highly anticipated third album, release date TBD. The new music is the first from Khalid since his sophomore album, 2019's Free Spirit. Weeks ago, Khalid hinted that the wait for a new album may be almost over, sharing a photo carousel with the caption reading “5 years later. Here we go again"
