21 Savage surprised fans by announcing American Dream: The 21 Savage Story, first sharing a promotional image featuring himself, Donald Glover, and 'Stranger Things' star Caleb McLaughlin (the latter two playing Savage at different points in his life). Savage later released a trailer for the film, which reveals that American Dream: The 21 Savage Story will be released on 4th of July in theaters, directed by Glover, Stephen Glover, Jamal Olori, Fam Udeorji, and Luis Perez.
The music inspired by the film is set to drop on Jan. 12th, with Savage posting on his socials: 'My 3rd Solo Album AMERICAN DREAM This Friday !!!!đŸ‡¬đŸ‡§đŸ‡ºđŸ‡¸'. The trailer also features a new track performed by the Atlanta rapper, and features his co-stars Glover (Childish Gambino), McLaughlin, Natasha Lyonne, Jabari Banks, Victoria Pedretti, Young Mazino, Chad Lindberg, Gail Bean, and Druski.
