Cardi B and her husband Offset have collaborated on their new single and the music video for “Jealousy.” The couple’s last collab was 2019's “Clout,” which Offset included on his debut solo album Father of 4.
The video, inspired by the popular film Baby Boy, was directed by Offset and stars Taraji P. Henson (who originally played Yvette in the film). Cardi B takes on a reimagined version of Henson’s role, and Offset portrays a version of Jody, originally portrayed by Tyrese.
Cardi and Offset reenacts the scene of Yvette kicking Jody out of her apartment for cheating; Cardi then calls up Henson who gives her advice on her relationship, claiming that other women are just jealous of her relationship with Offset. The couple’s children, daughter Kulture, and son Wave, appear in the video in addition to Offset's children from past relationships -- Jordan, Kody and Kalea.
