Superstar Pride has reportedly been arrested and charged with murder. TMZ reports the 21-year-old rapper - born Cadarrius Pride - is behind bars after being charged with first-degree murder for allegedly shooting and killing a man in Mississippi.
According to TMZ, police were called to a home on Wednesday (July 19), where they discovered a 40-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds. Pride reportedly turned himself in a few hours later and was charged and booked at the Panola County Detention Center. As of press time, he has not been granted bond.
The rapper is best known for his viral TikTok hit “Painting Pictures” (featuring Faith Evans samples), which reached the Top 25 on the Billboard charts.
