Nicki Minaj fans have been waiting five years for new music from the artist, and now Minaj has announced the release date for her eagerly-anticipated fifth solo studio album. Nicki simply tweeted: "10/20/23 The Album 💿🎀" along with CD and ribbon emojis.
Minaj's last album, Queen, dropped back in August 2018. The album featured guest appearances from Eminem, Lil Wayne, Future, Ariana Grande and more, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Her most recent new music was the 2022 single "Super Freaky Girl," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and she's been featured on tracks from Ice Spice, YoungBoy Never Broke Again and others. Minaj will also be featured on the soundtrack to the upcoming feature film, Barbie.
