Madonna, who holds the title for the most awarded artists in MTV history with 20 wins, is now the only artist to be nominated in each of the VMAs five decades after she earned her 69th nomination this year for “MADAME X.”

The 2022 ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 28th at 8 p.m. ET/PT live from the Prudential Center in New Jersey. The VMAs will simulcast on The CW Network, in addition to BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TVLand and VH1.  Fans are able to vote across the 22 gender-neutral categories now through Friday, Aug. 19.
